Do yoga – Do hoop – Yo-hoop

We will be building on from our pilot-lit extravaganza in March. This time we will  use the force to move like a Jedi through time and space!

Yo-hoop is half a day of workshops focusing on building strength, coordination and determination – all whilst exploring the art of movement and mental integration. All our workshops are bespoke! Join us for 2 x 1.30 sessions where our focus is yoga, hoop and you.

Whats happening?:

Arrival around 12pm

Workshop 1 – begins 12.15pm- 1.45pm – Yoga with Thea

Designed for all. This workshop consolidates the Agni (inner fire) to create breath per movement flow. Here we will use strength and the breath to to find the freedom to float and fly. Become the yoda of yoga.

Break – 15 mins – there are toilets, changing rooms and refreshment-making facilities on site – if you have brought along something to nibble on quickly, you can grab it from the kitchen

Workshop 2 – Hoop with RoRo – Project Hoop – 2- 3.30pm

In this workshop we are going to be throwing some rolls, some passes, and escalating into some on body.

This session can serve as a taste for the world of hoop (for complete beginners), as a step up folks who attended our first workshop or as an enhancement and level up to those who can already, it is suitable for all. Lets do some hooping, a touch of circus, some dance, be hoop jedis and have fun. You will leave this workshop with an insight into hoop, new techniques and moves, and a sense of accomplishment.

A bit about Thea:

My journey into yoga began with a feeling. I encourage my students to embrace authentic and organic movements that follow sensation rather than expectation. I have a Personal understanding of the challenges mental health can have upon each of us, I provide an inclusive safe and compassionate space for all. Yoga found me more than 9 years ago and My love of flow, anatomy and mental wellness drives my teaching to encourage students to focus on their internal energy, away from external and self-imposed constraints. My continuing journey has led me to study human physiology and the relation of wellness to movement to movement focusing on Yoga for Health.
